*APY=Annual Percentage Yield. APYs accurate as of 6/3/2024. Rates may change after account is opened. Qualifying transactions must post and settle to the Kasasa Cash account during monthly qualification cycle. Transactions may take one or more banking days from the date transaction was made to post to and settle to the account. The following activities do not count toward earning account rewards: ATM-processed transactions, transfers between accounts, debit card purchases processed by merchants and received by our bank as ATM transactions, non-retail payment transactions, and purchases made with debit cards not issued by our bank. Transactions bundled together by merchants and received by our institution as a single transaction count as a single transaction for the purpose of earning account rewards. “Monthly Qualification Cycle” means a period beginning one (1) day prior to the first day of the current statement cycle through one (1) day prior to the close of the current statement cycle.  The "Statement Cycle" means the period of time for which our credit union provides a summary of the financial activities and transactions that post and settle to the accountholder's account. Contact one of our branch service representatives for specific Statement Cycle dates.

Qualification Information: To earn your account’s rewards, the following enrollments must be in place and all transactions and activities must post and settle to your Kasasa Cash account during each Monthly Qualification Cycle:

Standard Qualifications:

• Be enrolled in and log into Online or Mobile Banking

• At least 12 debit card purchases 

• Be enrolled in and have agreed to receive e-statements rather than paper statements

Enhanced Qualifications:

• Be enrolled in and log into Online or Mobile Banking

• At least 20 debit card purchases 

• Be enrolled in and have agreed to receive e-statements rather than paper statements

Premium Qualifications:

• Be enrolled in and log into Online or Mobile Banking

• At least 20 debit card purchases 

• Be enrolled in and have agreed to receive e-statements rather than paper statements

• Have an active, secured loan with GTKYCU

The advertised Kasasa Cash APY is based on compounding dividends. If you have a Kasasa Saver account, dividends earned in Kasasa Cash are automatically transferred to your Kasasa Saver each statement cycle and do not compound. Actual dividend amount paid may be less than advertised Kasasa Cash APY. The Kasasa Saver APYs may be less than Kasasa Cash APYs. Limit one account per social security number.

For Kasasa Cash accounts, if qualifications are met each monthly qualification cycle:

Standard Rewards: Average daily balances up to and including $25,000 in your Kasasa Cash account earn a dividend rate of 2.2271% resulting in an APY of 2.25%; and average daily balances over $25,000 earn a dividend rate of 0.25% on the portion of the average daily balance over $25,000, resulting in a range from 2.25% to 0.65% APY depending on the account's average daily balance.

Enhanced Rewards: Average daily balances up to and including $25,000 in your Kasasa Cash account earn a dividend rate of 3.9385% resulting in an APY of 4.00%; and average daily balances over $25,000 earn a dividend rate of 0.25% on the portion of the average daily balance over $25,000, resulting in a range from 4.00% to 1.00% APY depending on the account’s average daily balance.

Premium Rewards: Average daily balances up to and including $25,000 in your Kasasa Cash account earn a dividend rate of 4.8889% resulting in an APY of 5.00%; and average daily balances over $25,000 earn a dividend rate of 0.25% on the portion of the average daily balance over $25,000, resulting in a range from 5.00% to 1.20% APY depending on the account’s average daily balance.
